Dick, who got his NASCAR career started running in the KN West series spent most of his college years racing in the state California while attending school at the University of Denver.

Last time out: Jamie Dick has only one previous start at the fast Auto Club Speedway. In 2013 Dick started the race from the 29th position while finishing 25th.

Stats: This weekends event will mark Jamie Dick's 39th career NASCAR Nationwide Series Start. The El Paso, TX native is among only four Nationwide Series regulars to have lead laps in the 2014 season.

Jamie Quotes: "Auto Club Speedway is challenging and fast. You have to be very careful with your line through the corners, if you hit the seams in the track it will shoot you out of the groove, and kill your momentum going down the straights. If we can qualify good, and minimize our mistakes I have the confidence in a solid finish."

Chassis Selection: Chassis VM 55-010 will serve as the primary car for this weekends race. This chassis is brand new to Viva Motorsports. Chassis VM 55-005 will serve as the backup car, which only served as a backup car in 2013.
