LOUDON, N.H. - Ted Christopher took advantage of Tom Carey's cut tire while leading with four laps remaining to win the CVS/pharmacy 125 presented by Bayer for the Busch North Series, NASCAR Touring Saturday afternoon at New Hampshire International Speedway. Christopher averaged 108.476 miles per hour for his seventh career Busch North Series win and his record-tying fourth at NHIS. He defeated Martin Truex Jr. by 1.3 seconds, with new Busch North Series point leader Mike Johnson third, Brad Leighton fourth, and Paul Wolfe fifth.

Only two caution flags slowed the action for 12 laps, and the final 86 circuits were run under the green. Bud Pole winner Kelly Moore was passed by Truex on lap 34, just before the second caution period which saw most of the leaders pit for fuel only. Dennis Doyle, who remained on the track, led at the restart but was quickly overtaken by Christopher, who started eighth. Carey, from 13th, caught the leader and grabbed the top spot on lap 92, only to be repassed. On the 106th circuit, Carey made what appeared to be the decisive pass, but his right front tire let go as he exited turn four on lap 122 and he scraped the wall before limping to the pits. He was credited with 14th place, two laps down.

Moore, who lost valuable time at his pit stop, came back to finish sixth with Dale Quarterley seventh, the final car on the lead lap. Tracy Gordon, Dave Dion, and Mike Olsen completed the top ten, one lap down. Joey McCarthy, 14th overall, took the Raybestos Rookie-of-the-Race Award, while Christopher won the Gatoade Front Runner Award by leading 69 of the 125 laps. Dion copped the Flowmaster Star of the Race Award by improving his starting position by 18 spots.

Johnson, with a second and a third place finish in the first two races, leads the Busch North Series with 335 points to 330 for Truex and 322 for opening race winner Gordon.
