ROGELIO LOPEZ ARRIVES TO LIME ROCK IN WINNING FASHION

LIME ROCK, Connecticut (August 16, 2007).- Telmex-backed driver Rogelio Lopez already got Lime Rock in winning fashion, to participate in the NASCAR Grand National Division, Busch East Series Round 10, where he expects to post his second victory of the year, after winning at Nashville and with that victory he became the first Latin American driver to win in a short track in the challenging series.

"This weekend I race at the Lime Rock International Raceway (2.462 Km. /1.53 miles) that is a track that I already know, in which I've raced last year. We have prepared a good car for this event. It is a special car for road course," the 2006 NASCAR Mexico Series champion said.

"Everything has been perfect so far. We are well-prepared. We are going to use a car that we bought from Robert Yates especially for road course, which should be fine and we are already at Lime Rock doing just details", the rookie driver in the Busch East Series said.

"We've got here with a new paint scheme, but the main thing is that we are going to do very well at the track, since we only race once in a road course in the year and we hope to race well," Lopez said.

"Lime Rock is a track where most of the turns go to the right; you only have one turn to the left which is 90°. You go uphill and the exit to the main straight is complicated, because is a turn to the right with off-camber and there is a very long straightaway. Then, there is a hard braking where most of the passing may happen (at the end of the main straight)," he said.

"This time we are not changing tires during the race. We only do refueling. I think that we have to avoid contacts and then we will be in a good position in the Top-3. Last year we changed tires, but this time we don't, then we have to try to not blister the tires during braking and things like that. We have to avoid contacts so the car will be in one piece towards the end of the race and then we can push as we did in the last few races," the Mexican said.

Qualifying will take place this Friday, August 17 at 4:45 p.m. (ET) and the Mohegan Sun 200 will be held on Saturday, August 18 at 12:30 p.m. (ET).
