DiBENEDETTO TAKES FIRST CAMPING WORLD SERIES EAST WIN

HUDSON, N.C. (April 27, 2009) -- Matt DiBenedetto is a quick learner.

The 17-year-old from California won his first NASCAR Camping World Series East victory in just his second series start when he won the Tri-County 150 at Tri-County Speedway.

Goodyear is the exclusive tire provider for the Camping World Series East and West racing programs. The same line of bias-ply tires is supplied to the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series.

The 150-lap race around Tri-County's 4/10-mile oval was extended to 165 laps due to late-race caution periods.

DiBenedetto edged runner-up Austin Dillon at the finish by .34 of a second. Alan Tardiff finished third, followed by Jody Lavender and Patrick Long. The winner averaged 57.628 mph for the race distance.

Tardiff won the Coors Light Pole Award with a track record speed of 86.946 mph. The starting field included 26 cars.
