The 30-year-old native of Hampstead, N.H., is entered in Saturday’s NASCAR K&N Pro Series East race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in a Ted Marsh-owned car.
Seuss will also be racing his family-owned Modified in the 100-lap NWMT feature on Saturday and the non-points All-Star event on Friday afternoon.
“I have no stock car laps there, but this is really neat,” Seuss said. “If there’s any place I'd want to run a K&N car it would be there because I'm from New Hampshire. It means a lot to me to race there.
“It reminds me of when I was just a fan in the stands watching the old Busch North races.”
Even in Modifieds, Seuss has never won at the 1-mile flat oval in Loudon, N.H.
“It would probably just the biggest thing that could ever happen to me,” Seuss said of winning a race at New Hampshire. “That's why we put in such an effort to make it happen. I love racing with my family and our little hometown team.
“To go from being a fan in the stands to racing at Sugar Hill Speedway down the road from there to not only racing in the K&N race, but also the Modified race and the All-Star Modified race, is definitely a dream come true for a kid who used to go just to watch.”
Seuss won titles in the NWSMT in 2014 and 2015. So far this season, he has raced in four Whelen Modified Tour events with a best finish of third at Myrtle Beach.
