Twin Falls, Idaho -- Garrett Evans made it to the front at lap 12 after starting fifth in NASCAR AutoZone Elite Division, Northwest Series action at Magic Valley Speedway in Twin Falls, Idaho. It was Evans' 50th career victory in the series and his fourth at this track.
Evans lost the lead to Brandon Riehl on the 40th lap as the lead pack ran into lapped traffic, but was able to regain the front position after Riehl and Gary Lewis made contact on lap 74. And it was a lead that he would not relinquish for the remainder of the race as Evans beat Joe Benedetti to the line by .24 of a second.
Gary Lewis finished third followed by Pete Harding in fourth. Travis Bennett took the fifth-place finish.
Jeff Jefferson, Jason Jefferson, Eddy McKean, Wes Rhodes and Rod Schultz, Sr. rounded out the top ten.
