Scott scored six wins and 16 top-five finishes in 20 races this season in the Grand American Modified division on the .25-mile clay oval at Watsonville (Calif.) Speedway.
Two-time and defending regional champion Mark Welch is second in this week’s rankings. The Orangevale, Calif., competitor has five wins and 16 top-five finishes in 17 races this season in the Grand American Modified division on the .333-mile paved oval at Madera (Calif.) Speedway.

Hoff of Fairbanks, Alaska - with 14 wins and 19 top-five finishes in 21 races at North Star Speedway in Palmer, Alaska.
Rounding out the top tier of drivers in the Pacific Coast Region this week are Gary Tamborelli of Escondido, Calif., Orange Show Speedway in San Bernardino, Calif.; Sean Woodside of Saugus, Calif., Irwindale (Calif.) Speedway; Dan Holtz of Pacific Palisades, Calif., Mesa Marin Raceway in Bakersfield, Calif.; and Todd McLauchlan of Alpine, Calif., Cajon Speedway near San Diego.
NASCAR officials have announced a seven-day modification to the current NASCAR Weekly Racing Series schedule regarding the conclusion of the point season, from September 16 to September 23. This modification has been granted to tracks which had events scheduled for last weekend and chose to postpone them due to the events of last week. The NASCAR Weekly Racing Series national championship will then be determined by a ranking of the regional champions using the Competition Performance Index (CPI). The top-50 drivers as rated by the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series CPI in the Atlantic Seaboard Region for the week of September 17 follow.
