(Woodstock, GA) Justin Wakefield and the Gang Run Direct team will be competing for the first time in their home state of Georgia on July 1 at Lanier National Speedway for the NASCAR Autozone Elite Division, Southeast Series Firecracker 150 present by Great Clips.

"The Gang Run Direct team and myself are very excited about racing at Lanier National Speedway since it is so close to home," says Justin of this Thursday's NASCAR Autozone Elite Division, Southeast Series 150 lap event at Lanier National Speedway. "This is a big event for us since a lot of our family and friends will be in attendance and our sponsor, Gang Run Direct, which is based out of Kennesaw, GA, will be there as well. So, we are expecting a good showing for everyone."

Wakefield is coming off a 21st place finish at Kentucky Speedway after a few mechanical issues ended the Gang Run Direct team's night early.

"We struggled at Kentucky with the car, and we had a few misfortunes before we got on the track. Overall, it was not our best effort of the season, but we are looking forward to rebounding back this weekend at Lanier," stated Wakefield from his shop in Woodstock, GA. "

Justin is currently 14th in the NASCAR Autozone Elite Division, Southeast Series point standings, just 57 points out of the top-10.

Carswell Motorsports racing efforts on the NASCAR Autozone Elite Division, Southeast is sponsored by Gang Run Direct with product support from Exide Batteries.
