BI-MART FIRECRACKER 150 NASCAR Grand National Division, AutoZone West Series

ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Peyton Sellers scored his first career victory in the NASCAR Grand National Division, AutoZone West Series in winning the BI-MART Firecracker 150 at Douglas County Speedway on Saturday.

Sellers, who grabbed the Budweiser Pole with a qualifying lap of 117.816 mph, dominated the event -- leading 125 of 150 laps around the half-mile track.

Eric Holmes waged a fierce battle for the lead through much of the event, but slipped to third in the late stages. Sellers then faced a challenge from Mike David, before pulling away in the closing stages.

He won by just over two seconds -- followed by David and Holmes. Tim Woods III was fourth, followed by Jim Inglebright.

The win moved Sellers into the unofficial lead of AutoZone West Series championship standings over David and Holmes.

Sellers, who won the national championship last year in the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series, drives for Bill McAnally Racing in the AutoZone West Series as part of a driver development program with Richard Childress Racing.
