NATIONAL STOCK CAR RACING COMMISSION STATEMENT

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Nov. 1, 2005) - On November 1, 2005, the National Stock Car Racing Commission heard and considered the appeal of Lynch Mob Motorsports. The appeal pertained to penalties issued by NASCAR under Section 12-4-A of the Rule Book "Actions detrimental to stock car racing. Driver was driving through the pit area in an unsafe manner." The penalties stemmed from an incident involving the #08 car during the NASCAR Grand National Division, West Series event at Mesa Marin Raceway on October 15, 2005.

The penalties assessed were:

a.. $1,000.00 fine; loss of 25 NASCAR West Series Championship Driver points; and probation until December 31, 2005 for driver, Scott Lynch.

a.. Loss of 25 NASCAR West Series Championship Car Owner Points for car owner, James Lynch.

a.. The driver requested and was granted a deferral of the fine portion of his penalty until the Appeal hearing could be convened.

Upon reviewing the testimony presented during the hearing, it is the unanimous decision of the National Stock Car Racing Commission to uphold the original penalties issued by NASCAR.

The Appellants have the right under Section 15 of the Rule Book to appeal this decision to the National Stock Car Racing Commissioner.
