PHOENIX, Ariz. - Burney Lamar took advantage of two late-race cautions to grab the lead on the final lap and win the NASCAR Grand National Division, West Series Casino Arizona 150 at Phoenix International Raceway on Thursday.

The event marked the first NASCAR race under the lights at the one-mile track.

Lamar, who led 63 laps earlier in the race, faded in the final stages. Ryan Moore took command from Lamar, but soon relinquished the lead to Scott Lynch.

Two late-race cautions erased the margin Lynch established and set up a two-lap shootout. As Moore and Lynch battled for the lead on the final lap, Lamar slipped by the pair on the inside to take the win. Lynch finished second, followed by Moore. Steve Portenga came home fourth, with series rookie Spencer Clark in fifth.

His runner-up finish moved Lynch into the lead in the championship standings with 489 points, followed by Portenga with 463.
