Coughlin Sets Houston Raceway Track Record, Grabs Provisional No. 1 for Spring Nationals

BAYTOWN, Texas, March 30, 2007 -- Bravo! Brands Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: BRVO): For the second consecutive race, Jeg Coughlin had the quickest Pro Stock car Friday in the opening round of qualifying, this time for Sunday's O' Reilly Spring Nationals.

His bright yellow Slammers Ultimate Milk Chevy Cobalt fired an opening-session shot of 6.649 seconds (a track record) at 208.17 mph that held up for No. 1 going into Saturday's two runs. Coughlin ended the evening with a 6.662-second effort that also was the quickest of the session.

"We're very, very excited going into Saturday here at Baytown," said Coughlin. "This is a great facility. I have good memories here. I had my first Pro Stock win here in 1997 in my second Pro Stock race. This place has always been very near and dear to my heart. For Victor Cagnazzi and the entire Slammers Ultimate Milk team to be on top for both sessions on Friday is definitely a feather in our cap. They've been working extremely hard on race engines, working extremely hard on race setups.

"The Slammers Ultimate Milk team and the TORCO Slammers Ultimate Milk team of Dave Connolly went to Farmington Dragway in North Carolina Sunday and Monday and made several hits on our cars, with Dave driving my car, too. I think our testing is definitely paying dividends now. It shows on the track.

"I know the 6.64 was a great shot for us and I thought the night run might' ve been a little bit better but that didn't come true for us, but we did stay number one going into Saturday and we are excited about that."

Coughlin was the low qualifier on Friday two weeks ago at Gainesville, Fla.

Dave Connolly, meanwhile, was 10th after Friday's two runs.

Saturday's runs are scheduled for 11:15 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. with Sunday's eliminations beginning at 11 a.m.
