BEST APPEARING CREW - The Joe Locicero Racing Super Stock Team. Driver: Joe LoCicero, Lithonia, Ga.

BEST ENGINEERED AWARD - The Dave McConnel Racing entry in Competition Eliminator. Driver: Larry Pritchell, Clarkrange, Tenn.

SEARS CRAFTSMAN CREW CHIEF OF THE RACE AWARDS ($1,000 to the Top Fuel, Funny Car, and Pro Stock crew chiefs of the race) - Rick Cassel/Johnny West of the Jerzees Top Fuel Dragster driven by Bob Vandergriff Jr.; Jim Dunn of Johnny Lighting Dodge Avenger Funny Car driven by Frank Pedregon; Rich Purdy/Jerry Bickel for the Splitfire Peak Pontiac Firebird Pro Stock Driven by Jim Yates.
