It was Dixon's third victory at Raceway Park.
* The victory was the fifth consecutive for Dixon on Father's Day. Starting in 2001, Dixon won three straight events on Father's Day at National Trail Raceway near Columbus, Ohio, and has won the last two years on the special holiday at Raceway Park.
* Dixon also raced to his 25th No. 1 qualifying performance and second of the season, powering his Miller Lite dragster to a 4.482 at a track record speed of 332.26.
* With his victory, Dixon remained in third place in points behind leader Doug Kalitta and six points behind second place driver Tony Schumacher.
