Jeg's and Mac Tools to debut car at Indy
Jeg Coughlin Jr and Team Jeg's will debut a special one-time paint scheme for the 2001 NHRA Mac Tools U.S. Nationals. The design on the Jeg's Mail Order Chevrolet Cavalier looks like the car is breaking through molten metal and forming tools the closer you get to the rear of the car.
"We spent a lot of time working on this concept in house with the assistance of the Horizon Companies. Our goal was to really have a unique looking paint scheme that helped tell who Mac Tools is and what they do," said Jeg. "Team Jeg's has been affiliated with Mac Tools for a number of years and we are looking forward to having them as a partner in the success of our program for years to come. Both of our companies are located in the Central Ohio area and there is a lot of synergy between our organizations."
A special edition Jeg's / Mac Tools U.S. Nationals die cast will be available through Mac Tools distributors. The die cast version was produced by Racing Champions and will be the first Chevrolet Cavalier die cast to hit the collectable market.
