PLAINFIELD, Ind. (Aug. 28, 2001) -- Mopar Parts Nitro Funny Car driver Dean Skuza will be making an appearance at the BW3 (Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar) in Plainfield, Ind. on Thursday, Aug. 30 from 8 to 9 p.m., Central.
The Brecksville, Ohio resident will be a guest disc jockey with KOOL 101.9 FM (WKLU) Rock Station personality Paul Wilson. The show is called "The Loudest Hour" and will feature some of Skuza's favorite tunes. Skuza, whose well-documented love of music includes playing in a Cleveland-area rock band, will also be available to talk with race fans and sign autographs.
Skuza currently sits eighth in the Winston Nitro Funny Car points chase and will be gunning for a third national event victory and fourth career number-one qualifier at this weekend's 47th annual NHRA U.S. Nationals at Indianapolis Raceway Park, the sport's most prestigious event. The 34-year-old driver will also try to win first Budweiser Funny Car Shootout.
