44TH U.S. NATIONALS GENERAL INFORMATION * Schedule: Pro qualifying sessions for the U.S. Nationals are scheduled for 7 p.m. (CDT) Sept. 4. Qualifying continues at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Sept. 5. Two additional qualifying sessions are scheduled for 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Sept. 6. Final professional eliminations start at 11 a.m. Sept. 7. Pro Stock Truck qualifying begins at 3 p.m. Sept. 3. Pro Stock Truck eliminations begin at 11 a.m. Sept. 6. Federal-Mogul competition starts at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 2. * Special events: The Big Bud Shootout will be held Sept. 6, with rounds at noon, 2 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. The NHRA Pro Bike Dash will be held Sept. 4 at 9 p.m. and on Sept. 5, with rounds at noon, 2 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. * Tickets: Tickets are available for the U.S. Nationals. Call (800) 884-6472 for information. * On TV: TNN will televise three hours of semi-final and final round coverage of the U.S. Nationals on Sept. 7 at 4 p.m. (CDT). TNN will also provide coverage of the NHRA Pro Bike Dash on Sept. 5 at 4 p.m. (CDT), and the Big Bud Shootout on Sept. 6 at 4 p.m. (CDT).
