MILLINGTON, Tenn. - NHRA Top Alcohol Dragster driver Lee Callaway will be hoping to make an impact with his revamped Chuck Haase' chassis during this weekend's NHRA Division 4 Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event at Memphis Motorsports Park just outside of Memphis, Tenn.

This weekend's event will mark the first of six races in this year's Division 4 Series after the Houston event was rained out three weeks ago. Callaway hopes to make a strong showing at this event to get the season started out in the right direction.

"The first thing we need to do is get the car down the track," said Callaway. "We need to get familiar with this car. It is a new car, and it's going to drive different. Ora [Vasquez] needs to get a pass or two on it to figure out a tuneup and go from there. Our main goal is to go out on the first pass and make a decent run; something that we can work with. Hopefully we can work off of what we had at the end of last year."

With cool weather conditions and the expertise of his veteran tuner, Ora Vasquez, Callaway feels that big numbers are not out of reach for his Baytown, Texas based team.

"It is going to be tough since they scraped the track last weekend, and there probably isn't going to be much track temperature," commented Callaway. "Ora seems to think that if the track can get some heat in it, with the air as cool as it is, that we can run some 5.40's and maybe even some .30's."

The Top Alcohol Dragsters will have two qualifying sessions on Saturday, followed by final eliminations on Sunday.
