Driver: Steve Wann, Modesto, Calif. SEARS CRAFTSMAN CREW CHIEF OF THE RACE AWARDS ($1,000 to the Top Fuel, Funny Car, and Pro Stock crew chiefs of the race) - Dan Olson for the Exide Batteries Dragster driven by Tony Schumacher.
