POMONA, Calif. -- Sunday's final results from the 44th annual Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals at Auto Club Raceway at Pomona. The race is the final of 24 in the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series:
Top Fuel -- Larry Dixon, 3.833 seconds, 300.93 mph def. Rod Fuller, 3.839 seconds, 310.48 mph.
Funny Car -- Cruz Pedregon, Toyota Solara, 4.087, 303.30 def. Ron Capps, Dodge Charger, 4.078, 304.53.
Pro Stock -- Greg Anderson, Pontiac GXP, 6.615, 209.20 def. Kurt Johnson, Chevy Cobalt, foul.
Pro Stock Motorcycle -- Chris Rivas, Buell, 6.929, 191.95 def. Eddie Krawiec, Harley-Davidson, 7.009, 190.46.
Top Alcohol Dragster -- Jim Whiteley, 5.317, 267.91 def. Bill Reichert, 5.632, 210.67.
Top Alcohol Funny Car -- Mick Snyder, Ford Mustang, 5.591, 258.71 def. Steve Harker, Chevy Monte Carlo, broke.
Competition Eliminator -- Dan Fletcher, Chevy Cobalt, 8.053, 163.75 def. David Connolly, Pontiac GTO, 8.025, 149.00.
Super Stock -- Byron Worner, Chevy Camaro, 9.884, 133.07 def. Frank Grossi, Pontiac Sunfire, 9.280, 143.23.
Stock Eliminator -- Lee Zane, Pontiac Firebird, 13.516, 70.52 def. Mike Johnston, Firebird, foul.
