Hillary Will turned back at Auto Club Finals

POMONA, Calif. (November 4, 2007) -- Hillary Will, driver of the KB Racing-owned, Kalitta Motorsports-managed Support our Troops and Families Top Fuel dragster, was turned back by Larry Dixon in the opening round of the 43rd annual Auto Club Finals at Auto Club Raceway at Pomona (Calif.).

It was a close race that saw Will cover the quarter mile in 4.524 seconds to Dixon's 4.522-second run. At the finish line Will came up short by approximately four hundredths of a second.

"This was another heart breaking loss for our team and I hate to end the season this way, but we did run good the last few runs and we're looking forward to next season," said Will following the season-ending set back. "I think what we did this weekend will actually give us confidence going into 2008 and I wish that things started next week, 'cause I'm ready to go."
