Sears Craftsman Crew Chief Of The Race Awards ($1,000 to the Top Fuel, Funny Car and Pro Stock crew chiefs of the race) - Ed McCulloch for Doug Kalitta's Kitty Hawk Top Fuel dragster; Chuck Worsham for Del Worsham's Checker-Schuck's-Kragen/Auburn Pontiac Firebird Funny Car; and Jeff Perley for Kurt Johnson's AC Delco Chevrolet Camaro in Pro Stock.
