Anderson prepares for "Crunch Time"

SONOMA, Calif. (July 25, 2007) -- With only this weekend's NHRA FRAM Autolite Nationals and two more races in August remaining in the first segment of the Countdown to the Championship, Greg Anderson knows it's time for both him and his KB Racing LLC-owned, Summit Racing Pontiac GTO to be at peak performance.

"When "Crunch Time" comes, starting at Indy, this KB Racing team needs to be ready, baby," said Anderson. "We've had a few inconsistencies over the last few races and we need to work through those and have both Jason's and my Summit Pontiacs ready for Crunch Time."

"Crunch Time" to Anderson is the second and third segments of the Countdown -- the last six races of the season that will determine the 2007 NHRA POWERade Pro Stock Champion.

"First we have to be there in those final two segments. Then we have to perform better than we have all season long. If we do that, then we'll put ourselves in the position to win it all," said the three-time Pro Stock champ (2003-2005).
