JOHN AND ASHLEY FORCE HIGHLIGHT HARLEY ST. LOUIS EVENT

ST LOUIS (May 2, 2008) --- Prior to the 12th annual O'Reilly Midwest NHRA Nationals presented by Castrol 14-time NHRA Funny Car champion John Force and his newly crowned national event winning daughter Ashley Force spent the evening at Doc's Harley Davidson in Kirkwood, Missouri. The event was the brainchild of Doc's Rich Blosser.

In addition to the Forces Doc's Harley Davidson hosted NHRA stars Angelle Sampey, Kenny and Brandon Bernstein, and Tommy Johnson Jr. While many people might think that the juxtaposition of Harley Davidson mixed with Top Fuel and Funny Car drivers might make some fans scratch their heads Blosser knows his customers.

"The NHRA customer is our customer. We have a number of different events that they kind of go for the free beer and free hot dog and come in to the show at a discount," said Blosser. "This is an opportunity to standout and to do things a little differently and give people the opportunity to give back to our customers who have given to us some of them for a lifetime."

"We are big race fans. We have always been race fans. We support anything that goes down the track fast. This is an opportunity to give back to our customers over the course of the year with the finest and very best drivers in the country," added Blosser.

Fans began lining up four hours before the event started for a chance to get posters, hero cards, die-casts, and t-shirt signed. Many of the fans waited patiently to spend a few minutes with their favorite drivers. They came away with positive memories and a keepsake to add to their memorabilia collection.

"This is the first time I have been to Doc's but I have been going to the drag races for years. I'm a big fan of John Force," Sharon Vaughn of St Louis."I've been a fan about fourteen years. I got here about 5:30 and it took me about two hours to get through the line."

John and Ashley Force began showing their skills at the race track with strong qualifying efforts today. After two sessions Ashley has hold of the No. 3 position and John is behind his daughter at No. 10.
