TIGERFLOW Racing Ready for Racing in Baytown

BAYTOWN, Texas -- HOUSTON (March 26) -- As the 2009 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series kicks off the 22nd O'Reilly Spring Nationals presented by Pennzoil this weekend in Baytown, Texas, Tigerflow Racing will have many racers to cheer for.

Shayne Lawson comes to his first national event piloting Todd Odom's 2009 Monden dragster. Lawson, in only his second race led by Bill Reichert and Todd Odom, won his first Lucas Oil Divisional Win and is hoping for a strong showing in Baytown as well.

Top Alcohol Funny Car will have three competitor's all vying for their opportunity to compete during Sunday's festivities. Paul Anderson of Denver, Colorado will be piloting Brad McWilliiam's Tigerflow Sponsored 2002 Camaro. Anderson was married over the off season and is a former Division 5 Champion Driver.

Kebin "Wild Child" Kinsley and Steve Burck, both Texas resident's, will also be making their first 2009 drag racing appearance within the Alcohol Funny Car class. Burck had a very strong 2008 season with several runner up appearances and running low 5.60's in his Randy Anderson tuned Camaro.

Most recent double up winner from the Cajun Sport's Nationals, Tommy Phillips will be competing in Super Comp and Super Gas hoping to take his efforts for another double up by the end of the weekend. Cynthia Davis will also be competing in Super Comp.

Tigerflow executive's Monroe Guest and Marvin Yoder are excited to be supporting so many racers within the Sportsman classes. Guest, who won the Division 4 Top Dragster Championship in 2008 is hoping that his new car will be ready to test by the end of next week.

"We're looking forward to a great weekend of racing in Baytown this weekend" Guest said, "this is just the beginning of the racing year and we're hoping to have as many Tigerflow cars in the winner's circle as possible."

The A/Fuel Team of Lawson and Odom would like to welcome their new associate sponsor R&M race trailers.
