Scott Douglas Goes For Tenth Career Championship

Las Vegas, Nevada - Veteran off-road racer Scott Douglas Has an opportunity to clinch his tenth career championship this weekend with a strong finish in the Best In The Desert (BITD) Terrible 300 Desert Race. Douglas is currently leading the points chase in Class 3100 Pure-Stock Production Mini or Mid-Size Sport Utility Vehicles in the Rancho Suspension Ford Explorer.

In other news, Douglas Motorsports had a major presense this past month at the 2004 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) in Las Vegas, Nevada. Show goers couldn't miss the bright red Rancho F-150 Championship Off-Road Racing (CORR) truck. It was prominately displayed on the main aisle of the BFGoodrich display in the Convention Center's South Hall.

In addition to having the CORR truck in the BFGoodrich display, the Douglas Motorsports race transporter with full awning was strategically positioned front and center in a high traffic area at the entrance to the Convention Center. "I enjoy representing Douglas Motorsports and our great sponsors at SEMA," commented Douglas. "It was great opportunity for the industry and many of our hard-core race fans to see what an unlimited Pro-4 short course truck is all about."

Stay tuned -- Douglas Motorsports will bring you breaking news from the desert as Scott Douglas vies for championship number ten. The Henderson's Terrible 300 Desert Race will be televised February 2, 2005 at 5pm EST on the Outdoor Channel.
