As we head for the first round of the 2010 General Tire TROPHYLITE Race Series held in Parker Arizona, TROPHYLITE competitors prepare for a grueling Parker Arizona course. The first stop in the 2010 General Tire TROPHYLITE series, hosted by the Best In The Desert race series, is the Blue Water Resort and Casino Parker 425. This being one of the longest race distances that the TROPHYLITE teams will run for the entire year, it will prove to make the 2010 championship battle interesting. Teams with the best preparation and smart race strategies will shine on the differing course conditions found in the Arizona desert.
Back on board as series title sponsor is General Tire for the second season. The TROPHYLITE trucks will continue to run their spec tires, the General Grabber AT2, on all of the competitors trucks.
The TROPHYLITE leadership has scheduled an "all hands on deck" meeting of the TROPHYLITE teams and truck owners just before the race action in Parker to lay out the payout schedule and sponsor plans for the 2010 season. Teams are expected to get their first looks at the newly designed body work that was created for the TROPHYLITE trucks. The new fiberglass bodies will be a fresh update to the outer appearance of the trucks. TROPHYLITE owner Greg Foutz commented "I am super excited about the new body work. Its one of the things I wanted to update for the guys from the time I took over the series. I think the new look will really help the teams with their sponsor support by making the trucks look as fast as they run. Just wait they look pretty cool."
