CORR: Bark River preview

Avon, Ind. (July 20, 2000)-The 25th anniversary of the U.P. Off Road 100 is scheduled for August 11-13, 2000 in Bark River, Mich. The weekend will feature food, music, fun, and racing.

The CORR EXXON Superflo Series features two rounds of racing on Saturday and Sunday. In addition to the CORR purse, the U.P. Off Road 100 will provide an additional $11,000 of prize money for the weekend.

The U.P. Off Road 100 will give an additional $2,000 to the winner of the Pro-2 and Pro-4 divisions in each round of racing on Saturday and Sunday. Likewise, the Pro-Lite winner in each round will receive $1,000.

The first event for the trucks is the long jump competition on Friday evening. The contest will feature a long jump battle between the drivers of the Pro-2 and Pro-4 division. The champion will win $1,000.

The Race Days outdoors show begins on Friday, August 11 at 12:00 noon. The show will feature a variety of outdoor attractions such as Boats, RV's, and ATV's. A concert at 6:00 p.m. by Rasin' Cain with Marc Maga (formerly of Billy Shears) will kickoff the weekend excitement.

The race fees for the weekend are $25.00 (price includes both days), or $20.00 in advance. A daily pass is $15.00, or $12.00 in advance. Children under the age of 12 are free. Each driver's admission is free. Food and beverages will be served throughout the weekend. No Carry-ins permitted.
