Avon, Ind. (August 2, 2000)-Following a successful inaugural weekend for the CORR EXXON Superflo Series in Fort Dodge, Iowa, a date has been set for next years schedule. The Midwest Off Road Raceway will host the EXXON Superflo Pro and Sportsman Series on July 28-29, 2001.
Midwest Off Road Raceway also proved to be one of the most exciting tracks in the CORR series. High speed, tight turns, and dangerous rhythm sections provided a variety of racing over the one-mile layout. The new track is designed using the areas natural terrain.
"When I first pulled into Fort Dodge, there was absolutely no doubt in my mind that Jim and Sue Ricke were serious about becoming a showcase event in the CORR series. Local businesses welcomed CORR on their signs, radio stations broadcast live three days from the track and played on air commercials every half hour. It appeared as if the 'track in the valley' had been established for years. When Midwest Off Road Raceway said they would force CORR into giving them a second date in 2001-they certainly meant it. We are finalizing our 2001 schedule, and are looking at possible dates. I expect great things for both drivers and sponsors in the future at this event in the years to come. Our hardest critics of any track are the drivers. Unanimously, they gave this event a thumbs up," said CORR Marketing Director Jamie Devney
