CORR: Notes and news - 2001 schedule

Avon, Ind. (January 16, 2001)The final date for the 2001 CORR EXXON Superflo Series was set Monday. Midwest Off-Road Raceway in Fort Dodge, Iowa will open the eight-event season May 19-20.

The inaugural success of the Midwest Off-Road Championships in Tour 2000 sparked the interest of fans and drivers alike in Tour 2000. Fort Dodge's dream of hosting a CORR EXXON Superflo Series event exceeded the expectations of all involved.

There will be 16 rounds of Pro and Sportsman action in 2001. The EXXON Superflo Series will visit the long-established tracks of Langlade County Fairgrounds in Antigo, Wis., the Crandon International Raceway in Crandon, Wis. and the Bark River Off-Road Raceway in Bark River, Mich. Fort Dodge and Topeka, Kan. will build on their inaugural success in 2000.

With the tremendous success of both the new venues and old favorites in Tour 2000, the 2001 schedule will provide an exhilarating experience to the fans of off-road racing.

"The goal is to provide the best racing for our fans, racers, and sponsors. This schedule will do just that," said CORR President Marty Reid.
