Rick Huseman Heads to CORR -- LA Fairplex Pomona Rounds 5-6 with 10 Point Margin in CORR Series Pro 4 Points Lead

FABTECH/Toyo Tires/Monster Energy Pro 4 AIMS to WIN at Pomona's Second Visit

Riverside, CALIFORNIA -- Capturing his first victory of the 2008 season in last month's CORR Las Vegas race weekend, FABTECH sponsored Rick Huseman, is excited about returning to the LA Fairplex-Pomona for rounds five and six.

Huseman, a Southern California native who resides in Riverside, California, will have a host of family, friends and sponsors by his side as he pushes the #3 CORR Pro 4 through the paces in search of his second victory of the season. Heading towards the third race weekend of the 2008 CORR season, Huseman leads an elite field of Pro 4 competitors in the overall series point's race.

At the season opening race held at the LA -- Fairplex Pomona purpose-built race track, Rick Huseman set the fastest lap time at 48.427 seconds. In fact, Huseman was the only racer to break the 55 mile per hour barrier in the final qualifying run of the weekend. He led the race from the start, but was past by the cagey reigning CORR Pro 4 champion in the final turn. Nonetheless, Huseman capitalized on the important podium finish to add to his series point's lead.

"We have really started the season off well. We have adjusted a few things on the race truck since the last LA Fairplex-Pomona race. We were fast then and we'll be fast this weekend as well. Our team has some great partners overall, but Toyo Tires and FABTECH have stepped up providing trackside support to our race team. Many of our associate sponsors continue to provide us with the key elements to race at the top of the Pro 4 field and without them it would be very tough," stated Huseman.

"Great sponsors coupled with my brothers' determination to make the #3 Pro 4 the fastest truck on the track; results in me just have to drive hard and stay out in front. We feel our race package is really good for Pomona," commented a smiling Rick Huseman.

Rick Huseman Racing has been racing CORR for over a decade and over many years he and his family team of brothers have commuted back and forth across the nation to the Midwest for the majority of racing.

In 2006, CORR revised its schedule to include West Coast racing and with the increase fan base and the television package the 2008 CORR schedule is completely a West Coast series traveling only as far as Las Vegas for two race weekends.

Fans are encouraged to visit the FABTECH / Toyo Tires Pit Zone to receive signed autograph posters of Rick Huseman.

Rounds 5 and 6 of the CORR Series will be broadcasted on Speed Channel on Sunday, June 22, 2008 from 2-4 p.m. and on NBC Sports on Sunday July 6, 2008 from 12:00 -- 1:30 p.m. Visit www.corracing.com for the full season of the television broadcast schedule.
