Corona, Ca. (May 27, 2010) - As Rounds 5&6 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series came to a thrilling conclusion in Las Vegas, both Rob MacCachren and Rick Huseman had taken control of the two marquee classes in the series. While Pro 2 and Pro 4 Unlimited have a dominant leader, the Pro Lite Unlimited race tightened as Marty Hart earned his way to podiums on back to back days.

Pro 2 Unlimited driver, MacCachren of Las Vegas, appeared to be head and shoulders above the rest as he tamed the Las Vegas Motor Speedway track and a stacked Pro 2 Unlimited field. Taking wins in both rounds, MacCachren left little doubt as the remaining competitors were left to battle for the second and third place positions on the podium.

On Saturday, Rodrigo Ampudia, racing with an injured leg sustained during a motorcycle accident, battled door to door with Todd LeDuc, taking the second spot at the finish line with a thrilling airborne pass. Las Vegas native, Bryce Menzies earned a hard fought second on Sunday, holding off a charging Ricky Johnson.

2009 Champion, Carl Renezeder and Rick Huseman faced off throughout the entire weekend in Pro 4 Unlimited. Though not as dominant as he was in Surprise for Rounds 3&4, Huseman separated himself in the standings by virtue of his tandem podium finishes in Las Vegas. with Renezeder taking the top spot on Saturday. Huseman was forced to settle for second with "Wildman" Adrian Cenni receiving the first of his two third place trophies for the weekend.

Sunday, Renezeder fought for a lead that he held until midway through the final lap when his truck momentarily stalled, opening the door for Husernan to take the Lead and the win with a disappointed Renezeder holding on to the second spot.

With defending ProLite Unlimited Champion Brian Deegan and Chris Brandt continuing their on-the-track feud, seasoned veteran, Marty Hart inserted himself into the fray with a pair of podium finishes that included a Saturday Round 4 win. While Deegan and Brandt struggled on Saturday, the podium was completed with an impressive second place finish by Adam Wik with Jimmy Stephensen in third. Deegan regained his momentum in Sunday's Round 4 with his complete dominance of the field that left no mistake he was focused on a championship mission.

In his 2010 debut, freestyle motocross superstar Jeremy 'Twitch" Stenberg earned his first Super Lite podium on Saturday, finishing in third. Stenberg returned Sunday, leading the pack throughout the Round 6 race taking the win and his second trophy of the weekend. Veteran racer. Jerry Whelehel also made two weekend visits to the podium by virtue of his Saturday win and Sunday Round 6 second place finish in Pro Buggy Unlimted.
