DOUGLAS MOTORSPORTS PRO 4X4 HAS "AMSOIL INSIDE"
Bark River, Michigan-The number 7 Pro 4X4 Ford F-150 driven by Scott Douglas not only carries AMSOIL logos on the hood and doors as a primary sponsor, but also utilizes high performance AMSOIL Synthetic lubricants where superior lubrication and protection is required-and on these trucks, that's everywhere. Off-road short course racing is a study in extremes. The brutal environment of TORC Series presented by AMSOIL racing runs machinery on the ragged edge producing severe loads and high temperatures.
"Even though the coolers in the race truck are well protected, they can still become clogged with mud or fail from the pounding these trucks take. I've had temperature gauges pegged and I was still able to run hard to the checkered flag thanks to the added protection of AMSOIL Synthetics," stated Scott Douglas. "Not only do we rely on AMSOIL Synthetic Dominator Racing Oil in the engine, but also AMSOIL Synthetic ATF in the transmission, AMSOIL Synthetic Severe Gear Lube in the front and rear differentials, AMSOIL Synthetic fluid in our 4x4 transfer case and underdrive unit, and AMSOIL Synthetic grease to increase the life and durability of all the suspension pivot points. AMSOIL is the life blood of the Douglas Motorsports race team."
Rounds seven and eight of TORC Series race action resume at Bark River International Raceway in Bark River, Michigan on July 11th and 12th. Be sure to catch the TV coverage airing Sunday June 19th on ESPN2 at 11:30 am.
