21 Car Grid For Donington Park

Banbury, UK, Thursday 22nd August 2002: A packed grid of twenty one cars with F1, F3000 and Indy Car pedigrees will line up to contest NDS EuroBOSS, Masters and 3000 titles at Donington Park on Sunday 1st September. Competing marques including Benetton, Arrows, Footwork, Tyrrell, Minardi, Reynard, Eurobrun and Ram, arrive at the Midlands circuit for the next race in Europe's fastest motor racing series (see attached provisional entry list).

Local challenges will come from on-form winner of the last three rounds, 22 year old South African -- now resident in Northamptonshire -- Earl Goddard, who will pilot a Benetton Ford HB V8 and Birmingham born Phil Andrews driving an Ascari Judd V10. The pair are currently lying in second and third spots in the very tight title race behind Dutchman Klaas Zwart who will be looking to extend his lead in an Ascari Judd. In the NDS EuroBOSS Masters Colin Stone, from Stourport-on-Severn, driving a Ram Hart will be looking to take a class win and 10 points in front of his home crowd. Young talent Scott Mansell, from Tamworth, will line up in his ex-Christian Fittipaldi F3000 looking for another top ten finish in only his fourth BOSS Formula race.

This exciting and rapidly growing single seater formula, with its relaxed atmosphere and open paddock, enables spectators to mingle with the drivers and view, at close quarters, some of the worlds finest racing machines. Amongst those with an impressive pedigree are a 1994 Benetton Ford HB V8 3.5 in which Michael Schumacher won his first ever F1 Drivers title, a 1995 V12 Ferrari formerly driven by Jean Alesi and a 1999 Reynard Indy Car in it's original Miller Lite livery. An autograph session with all of the NDS EuroBOSS drivers will be held on Sunday, so meeting stars of the future like Scott Mansell and Earl Goddard is a real possibility.

The track action starts on Sunday 1st September at 10:40 with a practice session for all NDS EuroBOSS competitors before the battle for grid positions commences at 12:50. The cars will line-up for an impressive F1-style start and 16 laps of exhilarating race action at 17:10.
