IF3: Giacomo Piccini Varano race notes

After competing with the Imola Racing team for the first half of the season, Giacomo Piccini competed behind the wheel of the WRC team's Dallara in Varano. Giacomo had very little time to gain confidence with the car and the new team. This may have been the reason why he wasn't amongst the fastest drivers during the qualifications and the race.

Giacomo was 10 on the starting grid and was able to finish the race in seventh place. The seventh place has given Giacomo 4 points that have placed him fifth in the general classification.

"I summed up points in Varano again but I wasn't as fast as I wanted to be. The team worked really hard but unfortunately we weren't able to set up the car the way it should have been set up.

I tried incessantly o find the perfect set up but I didn't succeed. For this reason, racing with a not very balanced car was difficult. The seventh place should be overlooked, It at least gave me some points that helped alter the classification. "
