Tomas Pivoda continued to grow stronger in the International Formula Master. The Czech youngster, in his bid to jump from karting to the international open-wheel panorama, faced another unknown track at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. As happened in the past, Tomas profited from practice to learn the German venue, and continued to build up his feeling with the series' Tatuus racecar. On Qualifying, he cut the gap towards team-mate even more and, thanks to two flawless races, he came just short of the top-10 on Sunday's event. Tomas will be also taking part in the next F.Master Italia race at Mugello Circuit, before re-joining the International series at Imola.
Tomas Pivoda
"We had a pretty positive weekend at Oschersleben. In qualifying I reduced the gap from my team-mate even more, and I'm sure I'll be able to challenge him quickly, maybe even during the next rounds at Mugello and Imola. On Race 1 we made a set- up mistake, and the car was really loose, but then we ran good on Race 2, and once again I managed to come to the flag with no mistakes."
