7:59 AM - GREEN, cars roll for 40 minute qualifying session for Round Ten. 8:00 AM - No. 89 LaPoint, who captured the pole for Round Nine yesterday, has gone back to the paddock to add fuel. 8:05 AM - Early in the session No. 69 Asaro is quickest, followed by No. 6 Kasemets. 8:05 AM - No. 13 Kahne has gone off course, but continued. 8:09 AM - Top-five is No. 89, No. 69, No. 55 Rodarte, No. 6 and No. 82 Harrison. 8:12 AM - No. 89 becomes the first driver to post a lap under 2:17. 8:13 AM - No. 88 Otto pulls into the pits and takes off the shock cover. 8:14 AM - No. 13 has left gravel on the track after going off course. 8:16 AM - Top-three is No. 89, No. No. 2 Gray and No. 55. All in the 2:16 range. 8:17 AM - No. 12 Constantine is off in turn 14 in gravel trap. 8:19 AM - No. 82 jumps to the top of the chart with a time of 2:15.703. 8:21 AM - No. 12 back on track after being pulled from the gravel trap. 8:22 AM - Top-five No. 6, No. 2, No. 82, No. 89 and No. 55. 8:23 AM - No. 11 Rubenzer has spun and is attempting to restart. 8:26 AM - No. 4 Hagar has lost power is not able to make it up the pit lane. 8:26 AM - No. 4 has made it to his pit box. 8:27 AM - Top-five is No. 89, No. 6, No. 2, No. 55 and No. 3 Bell. 8:27 AM - No. 89 quick time is 2:15.280. 8:29 AM - Crew of No. 12 is still attempting to clean out the gravel in an attempt to get back out. 8:30 AM - No. 89 improves his time to 2:15.089. 8:31 AM - No. 6 jumps to the front with a lap of 2:14.889 8:32 AM - No. 26 Fierberg spins in turn six, but continues. 8:33 AM - Top-five is No. 6, No. 89, No. 69, No. 2 and No. 55. 8:33 AM - No. 77 Dismore is in the pits and the crew has the rear body work off. 8:34 AM - No. 89 posts a lap in the 2:14 range. 8:34 AM - No. 11 is the top ACC car in 16th place overall. 8:35 AM - No. 12 has returned to the track. 8:35 AM - No. 89 has slowed and pulled off track in turn nine. 8:37 AM - No. 3 is on fire and has pulled off course in turn four. The engine has expired. 8:37 AM - No. 87 Potekhen has spun and continued. 8:38 AM - CHECKERED.
8:39 AM - No. 6 Kasemets captures his fourth pole of 2001. Completing the top-three is No. 89 LaPoint and No. 69 Asaro. The top ACC is No. 11 Rubenzer in 17th place.
