The second event of the Cooper Tires Championship Series unofficially got underway Thursday with pre-event test at Road Atlanta.

A dedicated Cooper Series test day, cars were able to go on track as they please for the morning session from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and in the afternoon session from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Commencing in somewhat cool temperatures, the conditions were soon warm and ideal.

The morning session is first halted for No. 2 Dromm in Formula SCCA, for being high-sided on the course.
