HHC Motorsport's Will Palmer came into the weekend as the 2015 champion which he clinched in the penultimate round. Indians Ameya Vaidyanathan and Akhil Rabindra were 11th and 12th respectively before the final round.

Starting the weekend, Vaidyanathan finished 13th, seventh, seventh and 12th in the four practice sessions while Rabindra was 15th, 12th, 17th and 15th respectively.

Lanan Racing's Rodrigo Fonseca topped the first two sessions while Ecurie Ecosse's Ciaran Haggerty led the third and Palmer in the fourth session.

The qualifying saw Rabindra finishing 12th, 0.436s off polesitter Palmer while Vaidyanathan slotted in at 13th, 0.454s off Palmer.

Rabindra's Douglas Motorsport teammate Fernando Urrutia finished second and Fonseca was third. The entire field was covered within a second of Palmer's time - a case of close competition as well as a characteristic of a short track.

The three races

Palmer took the win in the first race of the weekend followed by Urrutia and Fonseca where Vaidyanathan finished 11th while Rabindra was 14th.

For race two, Hillspeed's Vaidyanathan started from 11th and finished 13th while Rabindra started 14th and finished at the same place while Harri Newey (HHC Motorsport) won from Jack Lang (Lang Sport) and Fonseca.

Rabindra rued traffic during the first two races which limited his performance, he couldn't quite manage to pass the drivers in front.

In the third race, Vaidyanathan had a race long fight with Jack Bartholomew (Lanan Racing) for ninth but he defended well to keep the British at bay and take ninth.

Rabindra's race was compromised due to a contact in the opening lap and it was just salvaging from then on as he finished 15th with Palmer taking a win from Newey and Chris Dittmann Racing's Tom Jackson.

That completed the 2015 season with Palmer winning the championship having 592 points while teammate Newey was second with 455 points and Jackson third with 420 points.

Vaidyanathan finished 12th with 217 points and Rabindra 13th with 203 points.
