BARBER DODGE PRO SERIES ROUND 5: Saturday Practice Session
LEXINGTON, Ohio (June 14) - With under two minutes to go in practice, Derek Hill turned a lap of 1:25.746/94.465 mph to top the time sheets, 2/10s quicker than Chris Menninga. Points leader Rino Mastronardi was third quick, followed by Andy Boss and the surprising Will Langhorne. Tony Renna, who along with Hill is the Rookie of the Year from last year, was sixth. The first 11 drivers are within one second on Mid-Ohios 14-turn, 2.25- miles. Hill is one second away from Fredrik Larssons pole qualifying record. The first of two qualifying sessions today is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
Practice times, SCCA Pro Racing Barber Dodge Pro Series, Mid-Ohio, Saturday, June 14, clear, 68 degrees.
