CUP CAR AND MAN TAKE TO THE ROAD IN 2006
What is the link between Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars and MAN trucks?
While one is considerably larger than the other, there are many synergies and similarities between both vehicles.
Both are at the cutting edge of vehicle technology, both have advanced safety features, both look great and are great to drive, and both will find themselves in the Wright Patton Shakespeare Carrera Cup Australia Paddock in 2006.
A MAN TG-A 26.530 will be the Official Transporter of Cup Car Australia Pty Ltd this year.
Cup Car Australia CEO Jamey Blaikie today announced MAN's sponsorship of the organisation, another coup for the Wright Patton Shakespeare Carrera Cup Australia.
"We are delighted to have secured MAN as a sponsor of Cup Car Australia," said Blaikie. "MAN is a leader in truck technology and possesses similar values to ours - innovation, emotion, aspiration and fascination.
"As part of the sponsorship, Cup Car Australia will now have its own exclusive Transporter which will further develop our service at Wright Patton Shakespeare Carrera Cup rounds and our GT3 Cup Experience days which will be launched shortly."
MAN Automotive Imports Marketing Manager Don Hanson is pleased with the association with Cup Car Australia.
"MAN has a long association with Motorsport in Europe, including Porsche Motorsport, and we are proud to be a sponsor of Cup Car Australia," said Hanson.
"The Cup Car Australia MAN TG-A truck offers world-leading technology and provides superior comfort, enhanced safety systems and proven reliability."
