Sheikh Salman was fastest in official practice for this afternoon's penultimate round of the 12-round series with a time of 1:16.354 at Reem International Circuit outside Riyadh this morning.
Teenager Fahad Algosaibi, who scored victory in last week's tenth round to become the youngest ever winner in Porsche one-make racing history, was second fastest in 1:16.766, ahead of Saudi's newly-crowned champion, Prince Abdulaziz Al Faisal, 1:16.772.
Reem Racing team-mates Bandar Alireza, 1:17.007, Faisal Binladen, 1:17.117, and Raed Abuzenadah, 1:17.218, completed the top six.
