(Sebring, Florida March 17, 1999) Celebrated "top wrench" Dave Breeze, who just departed CART's All American Racers has joined Hybrid R&D Racing in time for the 12 Hours of Sebring.
In defining understatement, Hybrid R&D Team Manager Rod Everett said, "We are lucky to land a leader and former champion of Dave's caliber." Breeze was crew chief for ace Formula Atlantic team P-1 Racing when Bill Fickling and Breeze connected for back-to-back Toyota Atlantic championships with Mark Dismore and Jovey Marcello. Said Everett, "…add to this Breeze's experience in Indy Lights with Summit Motorsports and then Dan Gurney's All American Racers and Hybrid R&D is very pleased with the season now underway.
Breeze commented, "With ten years in open wheel racing, I found myself looking for new challenges in World Sports Cars."
Hybrid R&D Racing is a World Sports Car team affiliated with Yokohama, Park Place Ltd., Landmark Motorsports, Truck Air Transfer, and they are based in Orange, California.
