TAMPA, Fla. (May 23, 1997) -- Featherlite Mfg., Inc., an innovative leader in designing, manufacturing and marketing high quality aluminum specialty trailers and its luxury motorcoach division, Vantare by Featherlite, havebeen named the official trailer and motorcoach of Professional SportsCar Racing (SportsCar). Featherlite trailers have a reputation for high quality based on the company's experience building race car transporters and car trailers for top professional racing teams, while Vantare motorcoaches have a reputation for quality and refinement based on the company's previous experience building luxury yachts. "Featherlite trailers and Vantare motorcoaches lead the industry in their respective product categories," said Conrad Clement, Featherlite president. "Featherlite's partnership with Professional SportsCar Racing is a natural tie. Many of our customers enjoy participating in sports car racing. In fact, several Featherlite and Vantare customers currently participate in events sanctioned by SportsCar."
