JMC Rallysport.com to compete in 1st round of European Rallycross
John McCluskey and his JMC Rallysport.com team are set to contend Round 1 of the European Rallycross championship in Essay, France on May 7/9 next. This will be John's first taste of the European championship since his introduction to the sport in 2001. It will also see McCluskey and his immaculate Citroen Xsara WRC re-united with its previous owner and multiple ERC champion, Kenneth Hansen. John's team will be running alongside Hansen's works Citroen team for the weekend where the driver and team hope to gain valuable experience.
McCluskey has had a mixed start with his new mount. A podium finish in round 1 of the Irish championship was followed by a non finish in the UK after picking up a puncture whilst challenging Will Gollop for the lead. "The chance to compete in the ERC and in particular in the Hansen camp was one I could not miss. We are all really forward to the experience" said John.
