Super Miguel Campos wins the Madeira Rally

Peugeot was on top form by placing six of its cars in the top six places at the end of the rally.

For the team's Sports / Technical Director, this represents achieving yet another objective: "We did what we set out to do and this was due to the dedication of Miguel and Carlos as well as of the whole team which suffered right until the end. Not forgetting the fundamental role played by the 206 WRC's reliability. We all deserve congratulations and to celebrate now and to start to think about the next challenge which will take place in the Czech Republic at the end of this month" he said.

Classification in the Madeira Rally:
Miguel Campos/Carlos Magalhães (Peugeot 206 WRC) with 3h00m42.9s
Bruno Thiry/Jean Marc Fortin (Peugeot 206 WRC) after 4.8s
François Delecour/Anne Chantal Pauwels (Peugeot 206 WRC) after 3m58m

Points in the European Championship:
1st Miguel Campos with 920 points in 5 races
2nd Bruno Thiry with 920 points in 6 races
