Gallagher Prepares For 1st Tarmac Event of 2004

Forty-eight Peugeot 206 Cup crews have entered round 3 of the French Peugeot 206 Cup, the Rallye Vins-Macon on 29th and 30th May. The event is the first tarmac round of the year and will present a new challenge for all the teams.

British Peugeot Champion, Shaun Gallagher, is relishing the opportunity to compete on tarmac for the first time this year and with the car being prepared by Skip Brown Cars, he is confident that the setup will be correct and that he will be able to attack from the opening stage.

The Rallye Vins-Macon is a 12-stage event, run on the hilly, twisty stages near Macon in South East France. Shaun and co-driver Richard Pashley are faced with another challenge this weekend, as the French temperatures begin to rise the crew will have to deal with the increased heat inside the car.
