Oakville Honda joins Walker for Honda Michelin Series
MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO - Jonak Brothers Racing has announced the sponsorship package for Mississauga driver Travis Walker in the Honda Michelin series for 2004. The partners in the program include Oakville Honda, which was Walker's dealer of choice. "I immediately hit it off with General Manager Alan Manessy," Walker said. "As a one time racer himself, he knows how difficult it is to put together a package like this. He was a big help, and I really want to do well for Oakville Honda this year."
Also signing on as sponsor is Ace Auto Collision, who are happy to support the area racer. Signs Alive will be doing the decal work on the Honda Civic that Walker will drive and Loft Transportation has also added their support to the growing list of sponsors. "Everything has fallen into place so far," Walker said. "Now it is just a question of getting the car ready and waiting for the first test day."
Manessy, for his part is happy to be a sponsor of a local up and coming star. "Our goal here at Oakville Honda is to have life long relationships with our clients, which are built on outstanding products and service. We think Travis will be a major part of demonstrating that this year with his efforts in the Honda Michelin series."
