Four Tracks and Fifteen Cars in One Week
World Speed drivers keeping busy in May

While most people in California are celebrating Cinco de Mayo with a pile of nachos and a pitcher of Margaritas the World Speed team is hard at work at a variety of locations.

From May 2nd to 4th the team ran eight cars at rounds two and three of the MOLECULE Formula Mazda Challenge sanctioned by NASA. Kevin Woods a rookie in the series brought home two podium finishes for the team at the well attended event.

On the very same weekend at Mazda Raceway/Laguna Seca, Les and Brad Oldenbrook raced their World Speed Motorsports prepared Pro Formula Mazdas with the SCCA. World Speed drivers Renny Damon and Vince Gaddini raced their Stohr sports racers at this same event with RennWerks. Damon and Gaddini will be testing in their new World Speed Pro Formula Mazdas this Thursday at Infineon Raceway.

Right after Sunday's races a good portion of the team immediately flew out to Miller Motorsports Park in Salt Lake City, Utah to test for two days with Chris Cumming, Eric Freiberg, and Taylor Hacquard in preparation for the May 15-17 Star Series race weekend. The balance of the team headed home to unpack and get ready for a new car shakedown at Infineon on May 8th for Vince Gaddini, and to prepare Stan Kohls and Dave House's cars for the Miller Motorsports race.
