Mishael Abbott Qualifies Third at Sebring

SEBRING, FL (January 7, 2006) -- Mishael Abbott of Coral Springs, FL was back at Sebring International Raceway for the SCCA Central Florida Region Winter Vacation National on Saturday. Taking to the Sebring's 3.6 mile long-track after a day of open practice, Mishael qualified third among twelve Formula Mazda competitors.

"I am excited about how the car is running," said Mishael. "This is the fastest I have ever gone here at Sebring and I am looking forward to a podium finish tomorrow."

Mishael will start Sunday's National race behind two experienced Formula Mazda competitors in what is expected to be an exciting race on another cool day in Central Florida.

Mishael Abbott is pursuing her formal education at Florida Atlantic University, working toward an elementary school teaching degree, and at the University of Indianapolis, working on a sports marketing degree. Mishael is seeking sponsorship support to complete the entire 2006 season in one of the premier open-wheeled series'.
